Reading parkrun, 26 May 2012, 09:00 start

Folks,

the latest in our leisurely series of parkrun flashmobs is due to take place next weekend - 26th - at Reading. As the only parkrun on my dog and I's normal Saturday run, down by the Thames out to Sonning, it was always likely to be a strong favourite with me. But it turns out that there are about 200+ other runners who regularly join in, and so its fortunate for me that Mia (my dog), and our 'six leg drive' gets us off and away very nicely. But, as with all parkruns, its good fun for all ages and speeds.

You are cordially invited to come along, and brandish a vest, or T-Shirt, to publicise the club, and maybe handout some Concorde 10k flyers (Brian?)!

We have negotiated the loan of the BA Clubs minibus, to give a lift from the Concorde Centre, to make it a little easier to get to, though currently we only have three takers. If anyone else would like to avail themselves of the bus option, please let Paul Brandon know ideally before next Weds, so that arrangements can be confirmed.

Reading parkrun is easy to find - along the M4 to J10, then A3290 - all the way to the end, right at the roundabout, and park up on Thames Valley Park Drive (point A): Late arrivals might have to go past and turn second right at the next roundabout and park up there. (point B)

GoogleMap for the start - Marsport at Wokingham Waterside Centre - RG6 1PQ - point A. Post run coffee at David Lloyd (near B)

As with all parkruns, hope to see you there.. but its entirely up to you ;)
