NEWS BAAC Sports Hall Session

Led very well by Fran. including advise on technique, I enjoyed it, worked up a sweat and used a few muscles that I don't use as much as I should :)
Hopefully see more of you there next week (Wed 18:00) for session 2 of 6.

There were 17 club members there with a wide ability range and the hour consisted of :-

Warm up,

1 minute each at 3 stations
all to the centre, 20 to 30 seconds each of 3 or4 differing heart rate raising exercises eg star jumps, knee raises,
1 minute each at 4 stations
all to the centre, 20 to 30 seconds each of 3 or4 differing heart rate raising exercises
1 minute each at remaining stations.
Short break to get a drink

Repeat above

Warm down stretching.

Then off to
Shower
bar for food and drink (at your own expense) and socialising.

There were 10 stations consisting of
Shuttle run
Press ups
Calf raise
Chest raise
Squats
arm raise
Star jumps
Knee raise
2 others!

Most stations had a full option and lesser options for those unable to do the full option, as well as varying the speed of repetitions, though It was suggested I go quicker on a couple of stations that'll teach me to try and take it easy :)
eg press-ups, On toes, or on knees
Calf raise (no weights or 1kg 2kg, 3kg)
Star jumps full or half.
